In the last ten years Kettal has developed their lifestyle brand into a world-class contemporary line. Acquiring the necessary subsidiaries to produce an eclectic and well-rounded outdoor collection, they have collaborated with some of the industry’s top designers.
Established in Barcelona in 1964 with a focus on bringing quality outdoor furniture to the market, in 2005 they achieved the ISO 9001 certification in production and management.

As the weather starts to warm and summer draws nearer, we all start to spend more time outdoors. This includes barbeques with friends and family or just plain relaxing alone on our balconies, decks and patios.
B&B Italia has some of the most beautifully designed and exquisitely built outdoor furniture to make you feel like you’re at a top class resort while being at home.
If you’re into warm minimal design and spectacular craftsmanship than this is for you. As a bit of a precursor to the next post, I visited the New York showroom of Moroso which were artfully decorated by sculptor/designer Ron Arad. Many original works were on display including the first pieces that he brought to his meeting with Patrizia Moroso. Glossy metallic creations mixed in with the production upholstery pieces in Moroso’s collection made for a rich and colorful showroom.
The works of Ron Arad are truly amazing and there are many production models available in all sorts of price ranges from hats, cans, sofas, and lighting. Next post will be some great images of his MoMA exhibit.
